A few words from the National President, Janet Wylie

Dear Friend,

Welcome to the Navy Wives Clubs of America, Incorporated official web site. Please take the opportunity to browse through the information we’ve provided for you and please don’t hesitate to ask questions.

If you are the spouse of an active duty, retired, or deceased United States Navy, Marine Corps or Coast Guard personnel, we are here for you. Our organization was established in 1936 by a group of women who shared a common bond and a common need and those of us who still belong today, continue to share that bond and that need for support and friendship.

In this time of war and uncertainty, it is important for you to know that you are not alone and we are here to help you get through the separations, establish friendships at your new duty stations, assist you in finding the resources that are available to help you when needed.

If you’re looking for things to do in your spare time, the local chapters always have projects going on in both their military and civilian communities. Some chapters have Thrift Shops they run, others have Food Lockers that help the military families in their area make it through the tough times. School projects with the children, visits to the local Veteran’s Homes and Military Hospitals, participating in community outreach projects, just name it and we’re involved.

For those of you who have children preparing to attend college, or if you are interested in furthering your education, I invite you to look at our Scholarship Section listed on this site. We have over 40 scholarships available for both children and spouses.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us either through this web site or call us at our toll free number.

Always remember that "We are partners of the men serving the Flag of our Country".

Sincerely,

Janet Wylie
NWCA National President
