Story from May 27, 2024, by Susan Martinez, NWCA Memphis #119 and current NWCA National Secretary: “On May 27th, Janet Park, Memphis #119 and NWCA Past National President, and I attended a beautiful ceremony at a local cemetery in honor of Memorial Day. It was very well done. After the ceremony we visited a grave of a member of my church who was buried at this cemetery. We then went to the Wreaths Across America Mobile Display. Janet is from the same area as the two gentlemen that were there to manage the display. Turns out that they know some of the same people that Janet knew from that area. They had fun remembering and sharing some stiories about their mutual friends. We had a realy nice day – ending with a barbecue at my house before I took Janet back home.”
