A fun “How to Make Lumpia and Fried Plantains” cooking class was held on Saturday, July 20, 2019 with Members of NWCA Daughters in Dixie #300. Tess Groyon Gruber served as the leader and “teacher” of this class. The Club Members had a great time learning how to make these favorite foods. Some of the Lumpia wrap ups were, maybe, a “less than perfect,” but still tasted wonderful. The Members said: “we were very excited about this ‘hands on’ and fun meeting.” The opportunity to learn something new, that we use and pass along to others is most welcome.
