The Scholarship Foundation of NWCA annually awards 31 scholarships in the
amount of $1,000 to $1,500. Each grant is given with the knowledge that no
repayment is expected.
To be eligible, an applicant must be a dependent son or daughter (natural born,
legally adopted or stepchild) of an active duty, retired with pay or deceased
ENLISTED (E1-E9) member of the US Navy, Marine Corps, or Coast Guard. The
applicant must have a valid Dependent ID card (United States Uniformed Services
Identification & Privilege Card). The applicant must show basis of need for financial
assistance, have a scholastic standing of at least a 2.5 grade point average (GPA)
and be a graduate of an accredited High School or its equivalent or will qualify for
graduation prior to beginning eligibility for assistance. Upperclassmen are
welcomed to apply. The applicant should be physically capable of completing the
course undertaken and be of good character. The grants are for tuition, room and
board, fees, and books.
The deadline for Scholarship applications must be postmarked by March 31, 2025,
and sent to Nancy New, NWCA Scholarship Director. If you intend to apply request
