On December 7, 1941 U.S. Military armed forces were attacked around the Hawaiian Islands. On December 8, 1941, President Franklin D. Roosevelt delivered his speech to a joint session of Congress, asking that war be declared. His now famous words “Yesterday December 7, 1941-A date which will live in infamy…” still hold true today. “We will never forget.”
